Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and versatile Graphic Designer & Social Media Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled designer with a keen eye for detail, who can not only create stunning visual content but also manage our social media presence to enhance our brand and promote our events. This role requires a blend of graphic design, social media management, and a passion for the events industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Graphic Design:
    • Create visually-compelling designs for event materials, including invitations, brochures, banners, and digital assets.
    • Design and produce marketing collateral that aligns with our brand identity and meets the needs of various events and campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the event coordination team to develop creative concepts and visual themes that enhance the overall event experience.
    • Ensure all designs are consistent with our brand guidelines and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to promote our events and increase brand visibility across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
    • Create and schedule engaging content, including posts, stories, reels, and videos, that resonate with our target audience.
    • Monitor social media channels, engage with our community, and respond to comments and inquiries in a timely manner.
    • Analyze social media performance and provide insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
  • Client Collaboration:
    • Work closely with clients to understand their visual and branding needs for events and social media campaigns.
    • Present design concepts and social media strategies to clients, incorporating feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design and social media management process.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple design and social media projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
    • Maintain accurate records of design projects, social media metrics, and client feedback to inform future strategies and designs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, social media management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital and print media.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
  • Experience managing social media accounts and developing content strategies.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the UAE events market and experience in the events industry is a plus.
