Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and versatile Event Coordinator & Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a resourceful professional who can seamlessly manage the entire event lifecycle—from initial client engagement through to event execution and post-event follow-up. This role requires a blend of event coordination, supplier management, client communication, and sales acumen.

  • Event Coordination:
    • Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of events, including corporate team-building activities, workshops, and special events.
    • Coordinate all event logistics, including venue selection, supplier negotiations, and on-site management.
    • Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a network of suppliers, vendors, and partners.
    • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to ensure the best value and service for clients.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their vision is brought to life.
    • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process, from initial consultation to post-event feedback.
  • Sales & Lead Generation:
    • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through networking, industry events, and direct outreach.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, pitches, and proposals.
  • Project Management:
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
    • Maintain accurate records and reports on event performance, sales, and client feedback to inform future event planning and business development.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in event management, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE events market, with existing relationships with suppliers and venues being an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
